Special Educational Needs

The SEND team at St Peter’s aims to remove barriers to a student’s learning to enable them to live life to the full and achieve success.

If your child has a Special Educational Need which the school is providing additional support for they will be added to our SEND register; parents are informed whether their child is on the register annually.

Some students may be assigned support through the school whereas some students may have more complex needs which are monitored by the Local Authority through their Education, Health and Care Plan.

We are keen to work with all parents to secure the best outcomes for their children.  There is an opportunity for parents to meet members of the SEND team at each of the Parent Consultation Evenings, which are advertised in the school calendar. Alternatively please contact us on the details given below.
