Monday June 4th

4 June 2018

Week beginning June 4th

We hope and pray that you have a great break. During our final half term we will run 2 short series: “The Final Word” and “Life Stories”. During the first series we will be having one final look at WISDOM, COMMUNITY, COURAGE, COMPASSION and HOPE. For the “Life Stories” series we hopefully will be hearing from a student, a member of staff and a visiting guest as they share some incredible life adventures that they have faced and the challenges that they have overcome.

In the first week back we’ll give “The Final Word” on WISDOM and COMMUNITY with the help of Jonny Elvin and Phill Brokenshire from Trinity Church.

The QT for the first week back can be found on the QT website by clicking on the following link:

Jack Andraka, a 14 year old high school student, has developed a revolutionary new test for pancreatic cancer. But it nearly didn’t happen… In this QT we see how a college student kept going despite numerous rejections and as a result may end up saying countless lives.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank you for the perseverance that Jack showed. Help each of us today to show this kind of endurance. When we find things challenging please give us the courage to keep going. Amen

God bless

Mr Baker
