Year 8 GCSE RE Trip
A brilliant GCSE RE trip was held in Exeter Town Centre for Year 8 students in preparation for their Religious Studies GCSE on Monday and Wednesday of last week. Students visited Exeter Mosque, Rediscover Elim Pentecostal Church and the Roman Catholic Church of the Sacred Heart. It turned out to be a very educating and illuminating experience for all students for many it was their first visit and exploration of all 3 places of worship, so it was a great learning curve for them all!
The scene has now been set for their GCSE’s which begin in September starting with Christian Beliefs and Practices, followed by Muslim Beliefs and Practices then finally some philosophical end ethical themes. Thanks so much to all parents for their support and all the staff and volunteers that helped on the trips and finally to all the leaders, members and interns that helped at each place. Much appreciation to all for two very enriching days!
