Monday 10th February
Week beginning 10th February
One week to go until half term! We have had a hectic but exciting half term and are all looking forward to a break at the end of this week! During the coming week we will be having our half termly Celebration of Achievement assemblies as we recognise some of the great things that have happened in recent weeks and Jon Hancock from Belmont Chapel will be closing our “Streetwise” series.
In this QT we meet Erno Rubik, a Hungarian inventor, architect and designer who found fame in 1980 when the Rubik’s Cube he invented at the age of 29 was released internationally. Over the past 40 years, millions of people have tried to solve the cube and it is still a best seller each year worldwide. We look at Erno’s perseverance and think about how we could replicate this in school.

The prayer from the QT is:
Heavenly Father, thank you for people who have overcome challenges and obstacles through perseverance. Please help us to be people who have the courage and determination to keep going when faced with difficult situations. Amen
God bless and have a great week!
