Week beginning 25th November
During the coming week we will be focusing in Key Stage Assemblies on the section of the compass entitled “DISCUSS LEARNING”. Mr Randall and Mr Burt will be leading this week.
In the QT for this week we meet artist Stephen Wiltshire. Stephen was diagnosed with autism when he was three years old. Though he had difficulty verbally communicating, he loved to draw—and had a remarkable and powerful memory for what he saw. We’ll look at Stephen’s remarkable work and also at autism and look at the following questions:
Do we understand what things in life a person with autism might find more challenging? What would it be like if our school was a place where all forms of diversity were celebrated?
As a result of the QT a fortnight ago on homelessness, 2 tutor groups have started “sock related” (!?!) projects to help the homeless in Exeter. More details of how you can join to follow!

Heavenly Father, thank you that you make each of us special and unique. Thank you for the gifts that you have given to each of us. Please help this school be a place where everybody is loved and valued. Amen
God bless and have a great week!
