Remembrance 2018

9 November 2018

On Friday morning at 10.50am the whole school gathered for an assembly to mark a special Remembrance Day. On Sunday it will be the 100th anniversary of the end of World War 1.

As a community we took time to remember all those who have lost their lives in battle. We also thought about the impact World War 2 had on the city of Exeter.

The names of former staff and students who lost their lives in the Great War were read out by students and the Last Post was played by Ned Watson.

Finally, we fell silent for 2 minutes to remember people who have died in wars.
