The Saltmine Theatre Company are visiting St Peter’s
Each year Saltmine work with about 300 primary and secondary schools and perform to over 54,000 students across the British Isles. They believe in educating and empowering young people to make wise choices. Through innovative storytelling and interactive workshops they help children and young people to explore themes and enable schools to communicate relevant messages.
Saltmine offer theatre in education that looks at vital issues, such as internet safety, bullying and extremism. They also offer productions that look at the Christian story, presenting Christian values in innovative ways and fulfilling the current non-statutory RE curriculum.
‘Switch Up’ is Saltmine’s new thought-provoking show and workshop programme which focuses on the complex, interrelated issues of knife crime, gang violence and self-identity.
