Twelfth Night at the Phoenix Theatre
On the 14th of November 34 St Peter’s students performed Twelfth Night at the Phoenix Theatre.
The students rehearsed all day and were really excited and nervous when the time came to perform in front of two other schools and family and friends.
We were on last which was great as we were the only comedy. The audience clearly enjoyed it as they could be heard laughing a lot and in some cases shouting out. The members of the Shakespeare’s School organisation were very complimentary about the standard of acting and imaginative characterisation. They especially commented about the chorus saying they don’t normally see such a focused, humorous and engaging chorus.
Well done to the cast and a special thank you to Howard Shakespeare (maybe he’s related?) and Matt Davies for designing and operating the lights and sound.
