If students need to stay behind after school whilst they await to be collected, they may do so in the library.
Due to a wartime bomb near the railway between Exeter St Davids and Exmouth:
Train services running to and from these stations may be cancelled or revised. Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
During excavation work taking place this afternoon at the military base at Lympstone Commando what is believed to be a war time bomb was unearthed. An exclusion zone has been set up which the railway line between Exeter and Exmouth falls within. For a time we had to suspend services while bomb was assessed and we have now been given permission to run trains. A further closure of the line is expected to be required later today to allow the Military to dispose of the bomb, we do not have any indication yet of when this may be, but an update will be posted as soon as we are made aware.
If you hold a valid single, return, or weekly ticket, you will be able to claim compensation for delays of 15 minutes or more to your journey. For more information please visit GWR.com/DelayRepay
