Week beginning 28th October
Welcome back! We hope and pray that you’ve had a great half term break. This half term we will be focussing on COMMUNITY. You may or may not realise but this half term is 8 weeks long!?! By the end of it I’m sure that we will all be in need of a rest! Historically, the 2nd half term of the academic year can be a challenging one. New friendships and relationships that have been formed can be tested and arguments and fall outs can become more commonplace as people become tired. We hope and pray that by focussing on strengthening our community that we might be able to live well with one another and also prepare students for life after St.Peter’s.
Our QT for the first week back focuses on the incredible recent achievement of Eliud Kipchoge. Eliud did the unthinkable when he ran 26.2 miles in just 1 hour 59 minutes and 40 seconds. His feat is incredible and currently unmatched. However it is important to recognise the support and help he received from many others. In this QT we look at how Eliud’s incredible effort and talent coupled with brilliant teamwork made this record possible. What could we do in the coming half term to ensure that others achieve their God-given potential?
