Monday 5th November

2 November 2018

Week beginning 5th November

I hope and pray that the first week back wasn’t too much of a shock to the system! On Monday & Tuesday we welcome Stephen Seki to take assemblies (more details on Stephen can be found here – https://www.plymouthherald.co.uk/whats-on/whats-on-news/farmer-pharmacist-meet-amazing-plymouth-1080331)

On Thursday and Friday we will be continuing to think about REMEMBRANCE in our morning acts of worship. On Friday we will also gather as a whole school at 10.50am ahead of a 2 minute silence at 11am.

The QT for next week focusses on the pending 100 year anniversary of the end of WW1. George Vinall had a miraculous escape during WW1, the QT looks at his story and thinks more broadly about peace and reconciliation. It can be found here:

Heavenly Father we remember those who have died for their country in war; those we knew, and all who have given their lives for freedom, justice and the hope of peace. Please strengthen our hearts and minds so that the future is full of peace and reconciliation. Amen

God bless and have a great week

Mr Baker
