Ten Tors - More Moor Mist

Our 16th December walk was a rather misty and damp outing. Our waterproofs and boots were tested for durability as we navigated our way around the route with limited visibility of less than 200 meters in very persistent drizzle.

The teams walked a tough 13km route in the North West of Dartmoor and put to good practice map reading skills who saw first hand the importance of keeping check on the location. They also practiced the techniques of pacing and timings to exact their position.
