Results Day 2025 Letter

Dear Students

We are writing to confirm arrangements for GCSE and BTEC results on Thursday, 21st August 2025.

On Thursday, 21st August the school will be open from 9:00am until 11:00am for students to collect their results and there will be staff available to give support and advice if needed.

Results in August will be in the form of a results slip, with final exam board certificates available for collection later in the year.

Students should make every effort to collect results in person on 21st August, but we recognise that this may not be possible for everyone.  Results can be requested by email from exams@spexe.org before 18th July.  The only address that we will send results to is the school student email address which will remain active until after results day.  Students should ensure that they remember their log-in details for their school email account. Emailed results will arrive later in the day on 21st August, once examinations staff have finished processing the majority of the students results in school.

If you would like to nominate someone else to collect your results on 21st August, such as a parent or carer, they should bring with them a letter signed by you, giving them authority to collect on your behalf.  They should also bring photo ID (eg Driving Licence) to confirm their identity. Results cannot be handed out to another person without following this process.

Please note that we do not, under any circumstances, give exam results out over the phone.

Staff from Exeter College, Bicton College and our Head of Careers, Maria Huggett, will also be available on the day to help with any Post-16 assistance that may be needed.  Maria will also be available after results day on mhuggett@spexe.org to discuss Post-16 enquiries.

If you have an enquiry about your exam results and want further checks to be undertaken on the result, exams staff will be available on results day to give you guidance on the process and whether your query meets the criteria for further review.  Details of fees for re-checks and reviews of marking will be available for all exam boards on results day and will be communicated via e mail before the end of term. Staff very much look forward to seeing you on 21st August and hope you have a restful summer.
