Cast your mind back to 15 November. The week leading up to our walk had been exactly as forecast: dark skies and relentless rain. Fortunately, the weather broke in our favour on the day, giving us a fine window for a circular route from Nodden Gate near Sourton on Dartmoor. Our route took us north to Great Nodden, Sourton Tor, Hunt Tor, Kitty Tor, Green Tor, Chat & Brat Tor while other took to Arms Tor to complete their journey.
Our three groups followed slightly different variations of the planned route but all covered roughly 15.7 km with circa 350/400m elevation gain. Under clear blue skies, our walkers made the most of a rare dry day in an otherwise sodden week.
Well done to all our trainees for the early start, solid navigation and successful completion of the route.
Well done, everyone!
