News - 27th Apr 2022

Our adventurers were out once again this weekend exploring even more of Dartmoor. It was a very early start at the school on Saturday morning as we quietly set off before 6:45am. Our groups walked whilst under remote supervision a total of 33 miles over the two days. They started at Prewley Moor taking in the western boundary of Dartmoor all the way down trough Princetown. The following day they walked further south to Peat Cot before turning north east to make the inward journey to Fernworthy carpark via Bellever Tor.

We look forward to the Ten Tors event in two weeks time but beforehand wish to thank and congratulate all Ten Tors participants to date. We are immensely proud of the achievements of all the students this year who have been wonderful to teach, coach and supervise on their journeys; this year's team selection has been particularly challenging with many capable students within our group. We're sorry we can only take so many through to the event itself.

To everyone who has followed our training updates please keep an eye on the school website on Friday 6th May where we’ll direct you to the Ten Tors website where you can continue to follow the teams' progress on the event.
