Sustainability Award

On Wednesday evening our Young Enterprise team, the WEEE Enterprise set out to change people’s thinking about Waste Electrical and Electronic equipment. They sold to the public once more, were grilled by a panel of judges and presented their case for more people to be courageous in speaking up to raise awareness of this global issue. This team want to see the success of their business which sells re-purposed electrical and electronic equipment but they also want to see change and this was absolutely recognised by the judges.

The team won the Sustainability Award and then went on to win the entire Devon Final!

What’s next for this group of courageous and inspirational young people? They get to go to the South West final of course and do it all again! Watch this space in the next week for more updates and to hear more about their mission for change.
